Alia Bhatt is all geared up for the promotions of her upcoming film Badrinath Ki Dulhania, she says, "I'm currently hooked on Season 8 of Grey's Anatomy and have a bit of catching up to do. And I'm reading Karan's biography, An Unsuitable Boy."

Alia confesses that her mom Soni Razdan would be happy with her career, "All she wants is for me to get some sleep. Now that we are not living under the same roof, I miss sitting with her in the morning and chatting over coffee. Now I drink coffee alone and that makes me value our time together more. If I see her passing by, I call her for a cup of coffee or to watch a movie with me. I no longer take these moments for granted."

Alia has shifted to her home, "It's made me more responsible," she added, "But I've barely been there to enjoy my new home. There were some problems, like the plumbing, earlier, but I've taken care of that and things are slowly falling into place."

Alia said, "I also want to learn how to cook and play the piano. Earlier, I'd planned to do a film between these two but nothing interesting came my way. Now, I'm glad for the break because once I'm back on set, I'll be nervous and raw again. Also, I find myself getting repetitive in small ways. Maybe I'm imagining or over-thinking but I plan to make good use of this time off."
