On Wednesday, Supreme Court refused to modify the order and cleared all three representatives from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to attend the International Cricket Council meeting in Dubai.

The Apex court had authorized three officials- Vikram Limaye, Amitabh Choudhary and Anirudh Chowdhury, to represent BCCI in the meeting.

Kapil Sibal, the senior lawyer who was appearing for Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA), told the apex court that only Limaye has been asked to attend the meeting, which goes against the order passed by the court. The Apex Court then ordered BCCI to inform the ICC that all three members enjoy the same status and should be allowed to attend the meeting.

Rahul Johri BCCI CEO told the Supreme Court , "only one person is allowed at the meeting in Dubai". Johri then changed his stance and confirmed that he had written to the ICC to make arrangements for three people, to which the governing body has agreed.

"ICC has no objection to India's Supreme Court nominated BCCI representatives for the ICC meetings. It is the ongoing court case regarding the reforms in the BCCI is a domestic issue of India. The ICC has nothing to do with it," an ICC spokesperson said. "People who attend the ICC Executive Board and ICC CEOs' Committee are nominated by respective Boards.

The ICC meeting will take place in Dubai from February 2-5.
