The beloved Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa lost her life at the Apollo Hospital in Chennai on Monday midnight. She stayed for 75 days in the hospital. The 68-year-old leader was hospitalised on September 22 with the complaints of fever and dehydration and later she had a cardiac arrest on Sunday evening.

The leader was highly appreciated by the supporters of the AIADMK party as, they had a blind faith on Amma. She was such a bold lady CM of India.

Amma had an interview session on 1 October 2004 with the Indian journalist and a television commentator and interviewer ‘Karan Thapar', during which she thrashed the arrogance of the Journalist.
