An accused of leaking the film online has been arrested by Mumbai Cyber Police. He is the owner of the Prakash cinema which is based in Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh).

The place is one from where the movie was recorded and uploaded on the internet.

Deputy Commissioner of Cyber Police, Akhilesh Singh took accused to Mumbai, "We have arrested the owner of the Prakash Cinema and his son for leaking Force 2. They have been brought to Mumbai."

The spokesperson of K Sera Sera, who have lodged an FIR said, "In November 2016, we had identified one attempt for piracy of the movie Force 2, then we had immediately terminated the contract as well as access to the digital server and had lodged the complaint against Prakash Cinema, Madhya Pradesh from where it was leaked. We had also intimated Viacom 18 about it via email."
