Sonu Nigam's tweet tagging Azaan as forced religiousness outraged everyone's anger and it followed by baldness of the singer after clerics being issued against him.

However, in the row an old video of Priyanka Chopra is making rounds the corners. In the video PeeCee is seen praising Azaan. This video belongs to the promotional event from Bhopal for her film Jai Gangajal.

PeeCee in the video is seen saying, "If wrap up the shoot early, I always wait for the Azaan in the evening and prefer sitting on the terrace during the sunset. It is very soothing and relaxing to hear the Azaan and luckily I get to hear it from six nearby mosques."

She also said, "I really like those 5 minutes. It’s a strange, peaceful time to hear Azaanon the microphone (loudspeaker). It’s my favourite time of the day."

After this video got leaked, Twitterati started trolling Sonu Nigam more.
