Filmmaker Sabbir Khan is in talks with a studio for the Hindi remake of the Tamil hit film Thani Oruvan. For the film, the filmmaker is like to board Arjun Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra .

According to the source, "Sabbir has signed up with a studio. And he is now looking to cast for the Hindi remake of Thani Oruvan. There are two very strong roles in the film. A protagonist and the antagonist. And he wants to cast Sid and Arjun.”

Added the source, "This isn’t a role for Tiger, anyway. The plot needs older actors. It revolves around an IPS office1r and a rogue scientist. Both roles in this thriller are equally strong and the film revolves around their cat and mouse game. The Tamil film marked the return of Arvind Swami as the main villian."
