The makers of Akshay Kumar and Huma Qureshi starrer Jolly LLB 2 were ordered to delete some scenes from the movie which show Indian Law in not good light and some scenes put Indian Law in question.
Though the film was passed by Censor Board, but Bombay High Court panel had ordered to remove some scenes. After the decision of High Court came, the makers took the matter to the Supreme Court and now, Supreme Court will hear the matter today.
CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihalani said, "We are a responsible body and know how to do our job. We wouldn't have cleared the movie if we felt their intention was to disrespect anybody. It is a work of fiction, not a documentary, and made for the sake of entertainment. I don't see why there is an issue if the film runs a disclaimer at the beginning."
