Tuesday: Chemists shops across the country will be closed today in protest against the alleged stringent regulations on the sale of medicines.
According to the All India Organisation of Chemists and Druggists, "the one-day strike was called as their several representations opposing the regulations on the sale of medicines in the country, submitted to the government, went unheeded."
Meanwhile, service pharmacies in and around hospitals will remain open.
