Jammu and Kashmir: In the Arwani village of south Kashmir's Bijbehara area an encounter took place day before between the security forces and militants and the troop of 90 Battalion Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Special Operation Group (SOG) and Rashtriya Rifles have recovered dead bodies of three terrorists which died in an encounter.
In the dead bodies recovered there is also a body of Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Junaid Matto. The security forces have recovered arms and ammunition like two AK 47, six magazines and two pouches also.
The search operation started yesterday at the Arwani village after which they received the intelligence inputs about the presence of suspected terrorists in the area.
Two civilians were killed in firing a day before by the security forces and today against the joint separatist leadership has called for complete shutdown in the Valley.
