The Judge of CBI court today finally announced the verdict in a 15-year-old rape case in which Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh is accused. The rape convict has been awarded 10 years of jail imprisonment.
After the court proceedings, the violence was huge on Friday after which security arrangements have been made. 28 troops of Indian Army have been deployed in Haryana and Punjab.
The court on Friday declared that Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh is guilty in the rape case and after which he was locked in Jail. That day the court also said that it will announce the punishment on 28 August i.e today.
