The very anticipated biopic on Sanjay Dutt has been becoming more awaited.

Now the recent revelation of source stated, "She is an unknown actress, but she looks exactly like Maana, so Hirani decided to go ahead with her."

But the director has said she is playing the role of Maanayata Dutt in film. Talking about the biopic, she said, "I am working on Sanjay Dutt's biopic right now, and I am really excited about it. It's a wonderful film to be part of, and to be directed by my favourite filmmaker."

About working with Ranbir, Dia said, "Ranbir is amazing and there are no two ways about it. There has been learning curve working with him. He is supremely talented and down to earth person and it was sheer joy and privilege watching him work."

She further said, "Also Ranbir Kapoor has one of the finest temperaments I have ever worked with and I am sure after releasing the film, his popularity, and respect as an actor will increase ten folds."

About her experience, she said, "The shoot of the film is going really well. I just completed my last day of shoot a few days ago. It's an absolute honour to work with such a wonderful set of people."
