Female wrestler Sonam clinches Gold in Cadet World Wrestling Championship

It is been an honour to India as the Indian Wrestler for her Nation wins the Gold medal at  Cadet World Wrestling Championship.

On the fourth-day of Cadet World Wrestling Championship which is going on in Athens, the India Wrestler Sonam on Thursday won a gold medal by defeating Japanese Wrestler Sena Nagamoto by 3-1 points.

In the 43-kilogram weight category, the female wrestler Neelam clinched the Bronze medal.Matches were held in five weight categories and all the five Wrestlers of Indian Female Wrestling Team entered in the final match for Gold and Bronze Medals.

For the Gold medal, the Wrestler Anshu on Friday will fight with Japanese Wrestler Naomi Ruike in the 60-kilogram weight category.

Four other wrestlers Simran, Manisha, Minakshi, Karuna will also fight for Bronze Medal in different weight categories. 

In five weight categories the matches are held and the Indian Female Wrestling Teams all the five Wrestlers entered in the final match for Gold and Bronze Medals.
