The Australian opener Aaron Finch will play in the opening ODI of the five-match series against India or not is yet confirmed as the player is still recovering from a calf injury. The series opener is scheduled to be played on Sunday in Chennai.

In England, six weeks ago while playing for Surrey he injured his calf. Post which he is trying to get fit.
