For Mumbai-Singapore route; Jet Airways to organize Boeing 777 aircraft

Thursday; July 14, 2016:To meet growing passenger demand on the Mumbai-Singapore route, Jet Airways will organize from next month Boeing 777 plane that has additional seats

The Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft has a three-class configuration - 8 first class suites, 30 premiere flat beds and 308 economy seats.

In a release, the airline said, “deploying Boeing 777-300 ER -- the largest aircraft in its fleet -- on the route would result in 50 % capacity increase.The capacity on this route is being increased in response to the growing demand, particularly from business and corporate traveler. From August 6, the airline would start operating Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft on the Mumbai-Singapore route”.

Gaurang Shetty Jet Airways Whole-time Director said, "Deploying the 777-300 ER aircraft... will allow us to enhance our capacity significantly, addressing the demand for more seats on the route, at a time when trade and investment between India and Singapore is witnessing a healthy growth,".
