Naresh Chandra, the Former Indian Ambassador to the U.S. late yesterday passed away at the age of 82 in Goa.
The Hospital official as per the sources news said 'He passed away at around 10 p.m., due to multiple organ failures, in Goa's Manipal Hospitals'
He has served as the Cabinet Secretary from 1990-92 and was the Indian Ambassador to the US from 1996 to 2001. In 2007 he was awarded India's second highest civil awards, the Padma Vibhushan.
