In New Delhi's Gandhi Nagar area of Shahdara, a  four-year old girl succumbed to burn injuries after she accidentally fell on a gas burner while playing at her house.

The police as per the sources news said "The girl's elder sister was making tea for all the family members when Aayat accidentally fell on the gas burner following which a tea pot fell on her head," 

"The girl had suffered severe burn injuries on her face, head, chest and other parts of the body. She was later referred to Guru Tegh Bahadur (GTB) hospital where she underwent treatment. She died yesterday," said a senior police officer.
