In south-east Delhi's Sangam Vihar area a three-year-old girl yesterday drowned in a water tank as per said by police. The girl was at her grandmother’s home.

The police as per the sources news said “The incident happened around 2.30 PM when the girl was playing outside her grandmother's house in Sangam Vihar's JJ Colony”

They further said “In the meantime, a neighbour spotted the girl lying in the water tank of a nearby house. She was pulled out and taken to a hospital, where doctors declared her dead"

A case has been filed and the investigation is going on in the matter.
