- In a kadai add butter
- Saute the onions till golden brown
- Now add chilli, turmeric, garam masala and chaat masala powder and saute
- Add 1 cup of water
- Add mashed potatoes, salt and water if required
- Mash the potatoes
- Add tamarind chutney and coriander leaves
- Transfer onto a plate and add onion, pomegranate seeds, masala peanuts and coriander leaves.

- Cut the pav in between (do not break it apart)
- Apply the garlic and tamarind chutney
- Add some chopped onions
- Add the dabeli stuffing
- On a pan, toast on both sides with butter
- Roll the dabeli in sev and serve
