Apple CEO Tim Cook told Prime Minister Narendra Modi that his company is confident about the production of the iPhone SE in Bangalore which will also help in Make in India project.
Modi was Washington where 21 other corporate leaders also visited. There he met Tim Cook, CEO of Apple and had a talk with him.
According to the sources, it is said that Cook evaluated the Prime Minister regarding the production of Apple's popular iPhone SE model at its Bangalore branch.
It was in May this year that, Apple began its short scale production of iPhone SE smart phones in Bangalore.
Apple told IANS through the mail that "iPhone SE is the most popular and powerful phone with a four-inch display in the world and we'll begin shipping to domestic customers this month."
Philip Schiller, Apple's Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing "$70 billion earned by developers is simply mind blowing. We are amazed at all of the great new apps our developers create and can't wait to see them again next week at our Worldwide Developers' Conference."
Later this was found in Modi’s tweet, "Interacted with top CEOs. We held extensive discussions on opportunities in India."
