From last month, several iPhone users are facing the problem of shutting shut down in iPhone 6s.  When their phone’s batteries are sufficiently full to use in a long run, then also their phones are shutting down abruptly. It was reported that several complaints are lodged about random shutting down of the phone. After these complaints, Apple issued a replacement process for those iPhone 6s, whose users are facing such shutdowns.

On Apple’s Chinese website, a statement is issued by the Apple regarding the issue. They are saying, the problem is limited to particular serial numbers of few iPhone 6s. Apple also confessed that the problem is not related to software iOS 10.1.1, but related to the hardware. The bug is already reported by the Apple before the complaint lodged. A theory that gained popularity after the problem was reported with several iPhone models. According to Apple, this random shut down is the part of safety feature, not the battery problem.

"We found that a small number of iPhone 6s devices made in September and October 2015 contained a battery component that was exposed to controlled ambient air longer than it should have been before being assembled into battery packs," Apple's statement on the subject. "As a result, these batteries degrade faster than a normal battery and cause unexpected shutdowns to occur. It's important to note, this is not a safety issue."

"We also want our customers to know that an iPhone is actually designed to shut down automatically under certain conditions, such as extremely cold temperature. To an iPhone user, some of those shutdowns might seem unexpected, but they are designed to protect the device's electronics from low voltage."

Now we have to wait to see, how Apple deal with current situation.
