India beat Sri Lanka by nine wickets in first ODI

In the opening ODI of the five-match series at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium the Indian men cricket team defeated Sri Lanka yesterday.

The cricket team though lost player Rohit Sharma early but the partnership between opener Shikhar Dhawan and skipper Virat Kohli led the team to win over the Srilankan team.

Shikhar Dhawan hit his 11th ODI hundred for which he was awarded the 'Man of the Match' title. Kohli crossed fifty for 44th time in the format.
