The second ODI of the five-match series between India and Srilanka was played yesterday at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in which Indian players performed well to defeat Srilanka.
Indian team by winning the toss chose to bowl first and while batting Srilanka gave a target of 232 runs which Indian players managed to chase it. Rohit Sharma made 54 runs while Shikhar Dhawan made 49 runs.
India with this win has now taken a 2-0 lead in the ODI series. Both the teams are scheduled to play the third ODI on August 27.
