The Indian coach is going to submit the detailed report on covering senior, junior and women's cricket. The meeting was held between the committee of administrators with coach Anil Kumble and rest of the Indian cricket team's support staff on the sidelines of the Board of Control for Cricket in India's Awards in Bengaluru.
The COA led by former Comptroller and auditor general (CAG) of India Vinod Rai had a detailed discussion with head coach Kumble and assistant coaches R Sridhar and Sanjay Bangar. Other members of the COA were Diana Edulji & Ramachandra Guha who were present at the meeting.
Kumble has been asked to prepare a report covering the national team, women's cricket as well as junior cricket. Discussions held were on the central contract of the Indian players & remuneration to the support staff including Bangar & Sridhar, who were seeking revision in their salaries.
It was a productive meeting lasted 30 minutes and first formal one between COA, players and the support staff. Coach Kumble was asked to submit the detailed report covering senior, junior and women's cricket after the current series against Australia, " sources said.
The COA chief Rai had a separate meeting with both the Indian captain Virat Kohli & junior selection committee chairman Venkatesh Prasad.
The COA will next meet in New Delhi on March 17.
