Earlier there was a rumour that Nandamuri Balakrishna's 102nd movie which was named as 'Karna' is now changed to 'Jai Simha' keeping all the gossips aside about the movie it has been also confirmed that the film is going to hit the theatres on Sankranti 2018 release. More interestingly, the movie has the long list Simha-centric film titles in Balakrishna’s career. In fact, one of his last blockbusters, directed by Boyapati Srinu, was titled Simhaa.
In a talk with Deccan Chronicle, Ravi Kumar said: “We never chose or thought about the title Karna. Probably it came out when we registered a few titles, but it is not the final title for our film.” He added that the name of the film, Jai Simha will be officially announced soon after it is discussed with Balakrishna.” The film, briefly, was also rumoured to be titled Jai Balayya. However, the makers have clarified that they have zeroed in on the title Jai Simha.
The movie is going to be Balakrishna's 102 movies and the movie is going to be rejoining with Nayanthara for the third time after blockbusters such as Simhaa and Sri Rama Rajyam. This film marks Balakrishna’s first-time collaboration with Ravi Kumar, who has been planning a film with the former for a long time.
