The makers of Kanguva have unveiled the film's second trailer, giving fans a glimpse into its exciting world. Although the trailer keeps many plot details hidden, it promises a thrilling story spanning two different timelines. A major highlight is the dual portrayal of Suriya, who plays a character in both a modern-day setting and as a fierce warrior in a more ancient world. The sharp contrast between the two roles suggests themes of betrayal, resurrection, and honor. The trailer teases a prophecy with the words: "In the land of promises and power, a prophecy unfolds."
Bobby Deol, who plays a menacing and powerful character, appears to be the film's main antagonist, hinting at an intense conflict. Despite keeping the plot under wraps, it's clear that Kanguva will feature high-stakes action and impressive world-building.
With a massive budget exceeding Rs 350 crore, Kanguva is one of the most expensive films of the year, aiming to surpass blockbusters like Pushpa and Singham. Shot across seven countries, the film showcases a grand scale of production.
Directed by Siva, Kanguva stars Suriya, Disha Patani, and Bobby Deol in pivotal roles, alongside a talented supporting cast including Jagapathi Babu, Natarajan Subramaniam, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, and KS Ravikumar. Initially announced in 2019, the project faced delays due to the pandemic but was revived in 2022. The music for the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, with cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy and editing by Nishadh Yusuf. Kanguva is set for release on November 14.
