VV Vagisan, an engineering student from Chennai, has also ordered to issue a legal notice to the makers of Tamil movie 'Amaran'. He has also appealed for Rs 1.1 crore as compensation for the trouble caused by the accusation of his personal mobile number in the movie. Back-to-back calls on Diwali: Reports say that the incident happened when Vagisan was celebrating Diwali with his family. Suddenly, his phone started receiving multiple calls from the same number. He was initially confused to see the phone ringing continuously. He muted the calls, but the next day the interruptions increased. After listening to the voice messages, he found out that his number was shown in a key scene of the movie 'Amaran'.
Viewers misled: Reports say that after seeing the phone number in the movie, viewers started believing that it was Sai Pallavi's number. Then people started calling the number back to back. Due to which Vagisan's daily routine started getting seriously disrupted. The student shared, 'I cannot sleep, study or even use essential services like booking a cab without any interruption.'
Student VV Vagisan demands compensation: According to reports, Vagisan initially tagged the film's director Rajkumar Periyasamy and lead actor Sivakarthikeyan on social media and sought their help. However, after receiving no response from the movie makers, he decided to take legal action.
