West Bengal: In Hooghly's Bhadreswar yesterday a temporary jetty due to high tide submerged under water and in the incident three people lost their life while many other persons are missing.
It is said that the incident happened around 12:00 PM. Soon, the police and local people reached the spot to rescue them when they heard about it. The Government have declared about to give compensation to deceased and the injured ones.
The police as per the sources news said that the temporary bridge at the jetty was very weak and it broke down as more people gathered during the day.
