Firangi starring Ishita Dutta and Monica Gill, Firangi is nearing its conclusion. Kapil is busy with the post-production part of his debut film as a producer. Latest buzz also indicates that the star comedian will be singing for the film and it’s no surprise that Kapil can sing as well.
The movie ‘Firangi’ will be Kapil’s second film after ’Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’. He was launched by director duo Abbas-Mustan of the Baazigar fame. Sharma was recently at an Ayurvedic center in Bengaluru for holistic treatment. He hasn’t had a great year so far owing to health issues and infamous spat with former team-member Sunil Grover.
Kapil had also made headlines for calling offshoot at the last minute owing to illness and was hospitalized a couple of times in the last two months. Moreover, The Kapil Sharma Show has been taken off-air because the star comedian was badly in need of a break to resurrect his health. However, he has promised to return to TV soon and in a rejuvenated avatar.
At the moment he is busy completing and giving finishing touches to his film Firangi, set in the backdrop of undivided India in the 1920s. A village was reconstructed on the banks of the river Sutlej in Punjab where most parts of the film were shot.
