When one of the mall in Gujrat Padmavati's Rangoli has been created but few members over there destroyed the rangoli. According to the police report, the conclusion over the vandalizing of the rangoli comes out that " five persons, including four members of outfit Karni Sena and one from Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), were arrested on Thursday". The police have a FIR that on 16th October some of the people vandalized a rangoli which was created by a local artist over there. A video also has been uploaded where some people said the words like " Jai Shree Ram" and damaged the whole rangoli work.
Not only this but Padmavati actress Deepika Padukone also got heartbroken after hearing this news and she tweeted “Absolutely heartbreaking to see the recent attack on artist Karan and his artwork! Disgusting and appalling to say the least!” The group of people who destroyed the painting also warned that the screening of the movie in theatres if the facts were distorted. “Padmavati” which is going to hit theatres December 1.
Moreover, The Surat Commissioner of Police Satish Sharma also urged mall owners to come forward to lodge a case if such vandalism takes place, he also said that“We have arrested five persons, four of them belonging to outfit Karni Sena and one from the VHP. More persons are likely to be arrested as the video footage recovered by us shows 8-10 persons involved in the activity".
