The episode of Kumkum Bhagya begins with Abhi eating popcorn in front of Pragya. Dadi scolds Abhi for teasing Pragya on Karwa Chauth. Abhi and Pragya have a cute argument. Dasi and Mitali agree with Pragya. Dadi orders Abhi to observe Karwa Chauth for Pragya and Abhi agrees. Taiji tells Mitali that she never observed Karwa Chauth for her husband and asks her to keep her secret safe. Alia offers sweet to Munni for checking if she has kept the fast or not.

Pragya takes the sweet and acts like she is eating sweet to prove her assumption wrong. Pragya takes the sweet box from Alia and goes to her room. Tanu follows Pragya to her room and sees Pragya throwing box of sweet out of the window. On questioning, Pragya says that the sweet had got spoiled so she had to throw it away. Further, Tanu gets food items for Pragya to eat and test her. But Pragya each time makes excuses. Tanu gets mad at Pragya and says that she is lying and that she has observed Karwa Chauth for Abhi.
