The Berlin Man gave birth to baby Germany. He was the first man to be a mother. He identifies as male, but has a female reproductive system. 

The baby boy was born on March 18th this year in a home birth, as hospitals are required to write the name of the mother in their records when a child is born. 

The father, who maintained the reproductive organs of a woman, has been taking hormone replacement therapies for years to switch sexes. 

Details about the sperm donor or any relationship information has been withheld from the public as the father wanted to protect his son from any attention. 

This is the first child born to a transgender parent in Europe, it is not the first world wide. 

The American case of Thomas Beatie, a transgender man, is well known to be a father of three children.
