Nawazuddin Siddiqui is very busy in year 2017 as his films like Babumoshai Bandookbaaz, Munna Michael and Manto will be releasing and for the films the actor has adopted diverse looks. Also he is doing special appearance in Sridevi starrer Mom and in the film he plays a semi-bald, bespectacled character.

About doing special appearance in the film, "We worked on the look for 15 days before we finalised it. The director Ravi Udyawar planned something different. Normally, the character is created first and then the look but for Mom, it was the other way round. We tried various looks with how my character would walk and talk and his mannerisms. We used prosthetics and the entire process would take almost three hours to put on and remove. Moreover, shooting in Mumbai and Delhi during the day, when it is incredibly hot," he says.

Nawaz also said, "Producer Boney Kapoor had planned to fly down make-up artists for the prosthetics, but they needed two months at a stretch, so instead we went with artists, who trained in Los Angeles."

The actor consider s Sridevi his favourite actress, "She’s my favourite actress and I think she’s the best actress in our country."
