On August 1 to review the flood situation in the state the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Assam. Here he is likely to discuss all the aspects related to floods with the Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and senior officials.

Due to flood many people lost their lives in the State and the  Centre has already announced an exgratia of Rs. two lakhs for the next of kin of the deceased and Rs 50, 0000 to those seriously injured in the floods.

Prime Minister Modi on Tuesday did an aerial survey of flood-affected areas in Gujarat and announced exgratia of Rs. 2 lakh to the next kin of those killed in Gujarat floods, and Rs. 50,000 to those injured.
