The Badminton World Federation (BWF) ranking released yesterday P.V Sindhu the Rio Olympics silver medallist has acquired a number two ranking. Now she has become the second Indian woman who is in the top-five of the world rankings with 75759 points.
In the Malaysia Open Super Series, she got defeated while the 21-year-old recently won the India Open Super Series title in which she defeated Carolina Marin of Spain.
Saina, who also lost in the first round of the Malaysia Open, however, lost a place to be ninth position in the ranking table.
