Retired Indian Navy officer Kulbhushan Jadhav who has been sentenced to death on charges of 'spying' by Pakistan government is now considering the appeal of his the mother which India handed over to Pakistan, said Islamabad.

Sartaj Aziz, the adviser to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Foreign Affairs said, "Pakistani authorities have received an appeal against the death sentence to Kulbhushan Jadhav from his mother, which is being considered,".

"The ICJ has only asked Pakistan to keep a stay on Jadhav's execution until it arrives at a decision," Aziz said.
