After the demonetization of Rs.500 and Rs.1000 notes, the whole of the India is facing troubles in their day to day life. They don’t have enough small denomination notes of Rs.100 or Rs.50. even online shopping sites and departmental store are only accepting credit and debit and net banking. People started using digital wallet like Paytm, MobiKwik, and FreeCharge. In this crunch of cash, several companies come forward to help the customers.

Paytm is also come forward with its new feature in this to help the customers. Paytm on last Friday announces this new feature “Nearby” in a release. This new feature helps users to search Paytm ready merchant for the payment option. If someone wants to purchase goods from some shop or departmental store and they don’t want to pay cash, that time this feature help users to search a store who is accepting Pay payment. Paytm 'Nearby' will carry a directory of over 8 lakh Paytm's offline merchants and partners across India, the company said in an emailed statement, with over 2 lakh merchants included in the first phase.)

Commenting on the announcement, Sonia Dhawan - DGM, Paytm, said, "At Paytm, our approach has always been to build an ecosystem that benefits both merchants & customers. I am confident that while our customers will appreciate the increased convenience of finding Paytm services near them, our merchants & partners will value the exponential increase in visibility and new business 'Nearby' feature will bring.
