South Korean actor Jung Woo Sung has confirmed that he is the father of model Moon Gabi’s baby, after rumors swirled following a report by an entertainment outlet. Moon Gabi, who had earlier shared the news of her baby’s arrival without revealing the father’s identity, addressed the matter alongside Jung Woo Sung.

The two first met in 2022 and maintained a close relationship over the years, though there was no official indication of a romantic partnership. In June 2023, Moon Gabi discovered she was pregnant and shared the news with Jung Woo Sung. The actor, 51, expressed his excitement about the pregnancy and committed to supporting her through the parenting journey.

Jung Woo Sung’s agency, Artist Company, issued an official statement confirming the paternity. "It is true that actor Jung Woo Sung is the biological father of the child that Moon Gabi revealed on social media. He is currently discussing the best options for childcare and will take full responsibility as a father," the statement said.

Over the weekend, Moon Gabi posted a heartfelt message and a photo with her newborn, reflecting on her unexpected journey to motherhood. She shared that the pregnancy came as a surprise, and she chose to keep it private for the sake of her child. "I wasn’t prepared for this news that came so suddenly. Instead of celebrating openly, I spent most of my pregnancy quietly, surrounded by the love of my family. I made the decision to protect the precious life inside me," she said.
