New Delhi [India], Nov 8: In the latest development to the Pradyuman murder case, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday chaotic the investigation by the Gurugram police and gave a clean chit to the bus conductor arrested with the allegations of murder and sexual assault in connection with this murder case.
The CBI has denied the sexual assault theory in the case.
"No sexual assault theory came out during our investigation," quoted the CBI.
The callous murder case of the seven-year-old Pradyuman Thakur took a new development after a Class 11 student of the school was detained by the CBI on Tuesday night.
An official statement by the Probe agency reads: "CBI has detained a child in conflict with the law, a student of class XI at Ryan International School, Gurugram in an ongoing case relating to the murder of the seven-year-old boy."
It said, "Initial inquiry exposed the child in the conflict of law wanted to have the examination and parent-teacher meeting in school delayed."
CBI representative Abhishek Dayal said, "The apprehend was made after a thorough inquiry was conducted based on scientific pieces of evidence, including inspection of the scene of a crime, forensic analysis, analysis of CCTV and call records."
However, the father of the apprehended student has shorn of his son of committing the crime.
Father told "CBI detained my son last night. My son has not committed the crime; he informed the gardener and teachers."
