Smartphone battery explosion is taking new heights. Earlier Samsung is losing its customers because of the tragedy, while other manufacturers are also receiving complaints of mobile phones explosion.
In the recent incident, a Reliance Lyf mobile phone battery has exploded and the customer is nearly survived from the explosion. The incident is reported by Tanvir Sadiq. He has uploaded the pics of exploded smartphone on the social networking site twitter captioning, "Phone battery got exploded, nearly skipped with family."
In the reaction to the incident, the company said to be looking into the issue.They have tweeted against the post they the team will investigate for this and will get back with a better and satisfactory response.
"LYF range of phones are designed and manufactured with global standards by some of the world's leading manufacturers of mobile phones. Each phone goes through a stringent quality control process. We are concerned about the incident reported in social media and are taking the matter seriously. We are assessing the cause and will conduct a thorough investigation into the matter. Customer safety is paramount to us and, based on our findings, we will take appropriate action," said Lyf spokesperson.
This is first ever such incident being heard for the brand. They have more than 30 smartphone models in their portfolio.
