It was all set when two unique players faced each other in Hong Kong for the finals. Sameer Verma is also expected one of the future greats as far the men’s category of Badminton from India is concerned. He has already been a national champion, thus the platform was all set for himself to make his first championship appearance by winning the final match in Hog Kong super series.

However, when it comes to national pride, the home local boy proved a tough contender to Verma in the game of the finals in the context of Hong Kong Super Series. The Hong Kong badminton player got the grip of him and never allowed him to back on the game in which he could be in comfort zone. Sameer did try to retaliate in the second game, But the Hong Kong local boy also got the grip and in the final set he managed to defeat Sameer Verma of India by saving a medal for the home nation with immense pride and jubilation amongst his own home crowd at large.

The local boy Ng Ka Long Angust has long since been considered a dual hand player who likes to strike on the basis of his backhand smash. He did prove the same in the finals, Thus Sameer Verma from India has to content with silver medal in the case of the Hong Kong Super Series. The national badminton champion from India known as Sameer verma has been on the run to perform since then he came to the side in early 2016. However, this could have been his first international title, which certainly proved not to be. It is no doubt that he can prove himself to be a better player, meanwhile, he does agree about the improvement in the game after winning the silver and reaching the finals of the Hong Kong super series.

All eyes would be on his performance in coming tournaments now this Hong Kong Superseries is over, till then we can only hope for his proper fitness and improvement in the field of playing badminton in own practising codes indeed...
