When New Zealand had perform brilliantly in the first test match. It was not sure whether Pakistan should return to better performance even after losing their captain due to match delay charges. However, the visitor seems to have done well both by seam attack as well as spin one too. It is a basic fact that the Australian cricketing world has a test to prove them against spin. There is no doubt that New Zealand still contains legends like Kane Williamson who are brilliant when it comes to spin, But yet in the Kiwis' first innings, such legend's performance seems sulky and deranged, though.

It was only  Jeet Raval who managed to score highest with the support of B. J. Watling to score a valuable innings as a counter punch to the visitors on their own home ground, Thus the quest to spin and counter seem to continue to rattle New Zealand.

However, the Kiwis were also not on the top of business when it came to Pakistan's batting. They were not only in trouble due to midfield and certain catch drops, But their seam position and performances seem to expect their own homeland supporters. However, it looks like that the second test match in Hamilton also has a turn to look out, But how far the New Zealand can return back in their second innings would be a quest They need to prove how they perform in all three departments to justify their certain aids.

However, it is true that there would be certain team changes soon, New Zealand meanwhile need to consent there strengths in the order, before consenting increased expectations in their homeland especially in the context of this 2nd test going on these days also...
