In early trade today, the BSE Sensex jumps by 166 points, as the mixed trend prevailed in the rest of Asia. The 30-share barometer bounced 165.90 pts or 0.55%, to 30,354.05.
On the other side, NSE Index recovered by 38.90 points, or 0.41%, to 9,439.80. Hong Kong's Hang Seng and China's Shanghai Composite inched up. Japan's Nikkei, however, logged losses.
American Dow Jones Industrial Average had closed 0.11 % lower on Friday.
