When Shahid Kapoor announced his engagement with a non-actor girl Mira Rajput and also they got engaged in a very hush-hush manner, it happily surprised everyone and now it seems that it's his family policy to get engaged privately.

Recently, his sis Sanah Kapoor got engaged to actor Mayank Pahwa and this news was revealed unintentionally by late Om Puri's ex wife Nandita.

Nandita said, "We were supposed to go for Pankaj Kapur’s daughter, Sana, and Pahwa’s son, Mayank’s engagement ceremony. Om called me and by the time we got there, he reached my house..."

She continued with saying, "We were surprised to know about his hush-hush engagement ceremony. Well, we do wish the lovely bride-to-be a lot of love and happiness." 

Manoj Pahwa and Seema Pahwa are the parents of Mayank.
