Karan Johar and Kangana Ranaut are openly sharing their views on each other. Their war of words has now joined by Shekhar Suman who too has views against Kangana.

When Shekhar Suman was asked about the whole issue, he said: "She should just keep her mouth shut, and let her work speak for herself. If you are a failure then you should have a dignity to come forward and-and say I have failed miserably. You don’t always have to shout on the rooftop and say what you have done. The best thing is to just be and keep your mouth shut."

He also said: "I don’t like these weeping women and women who cry to everyone claiming that they were victimised, traumatised, agonised and all that. Otherwise when you are talking about equality, everybody is in the same line. But some women save their cards conveniently. You become a woman and a man according to your convenience. You say that you are the hero of the film and not the heroine. It is quite irritating to see these blubbering women who get all the support in the world from the Internet. This is manufactured and fake feminism and beyond a point it is irritating. These women talk about their achievements and struggles, what the hell everyone is an achiever here."

However, Apurva Asrani who has scripted Kangana's upcoming movie Simran defends her.

Apurva says, "He should have said it then and there on his show when she spoke up. There would have been a healthy debate about nepotism and I believe even Karan might have some valid points. To respond one month later, in London, without her to defend herself, has earned him a lot of flak."

Apurva also adds, "We are storytellers. In Simran we strive to tell a good story with sincerity and passion. Hansal Mehta, Kangana and myself all subscribe to the same belief. I think people will judge Simran for its unique story and its performances, on its own merits. Besides, Rangoon had four big stars including director Vishal Bhardwaj. But 'Simran' has her as its biggest draw. And like Queen and Tanu Weds Manu Returns, I think audiences are waiting for her solo outing."

Also Raja Sen, a film critic said: "I feel anything that keeps her this vividly in the news cycle right after an unsuccessful film can only be a good thing. She is fast turning into the anti-patriarchy poster child and that is creating a distinct space for her, setting her apart from all the other heroines."
