The accusation of sexual harassment and later an FIR filed by Shilpa Shinde against Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai producer, Sanjay Kohli made the headlines.

The actress earlier played Angoori Bhabi's role in the show had lodged a complaint against the show's producer.

Post Police complaint, Shilpa held a press conference in the city today where she talked about the FIR and the whole issue. Shilpa made accusation that Kohli often tried to take advantage of her. She also added that he touched her inappropriately once to which she had firmly objected.

Following that she also said, Kohli used to threaten her that he will throw her out of the show if she refuses to get into a physical relationship.

However, Kohli's wife Binaifer who is also producer of the show defends her husband and said, "These are obviously false allegations. All I can say is that the matter is subjudice. I have faith in the legal system. I don’t want to give her (Shilpa) unnecessary attention.”
