Director Neeraj Pandey is known to make extraordinary films. After Naam Shabana, he is all set to start his next venture which stars Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee in the leads. It is a crime thriller film inspired by the 1987 Opera House heist.

Says the source, "These incredible characters exist and the incident actually happened."

Adds the source, "Neeraj was looking to explore a different kind of a story after MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. He has put together a great ensemble cast, along with Sidharth and Manoj." 

The film will capture locales of Delhi, London, and Kashmir and it will release during the Republic Day weekend in 2018. Sidharth too confirmed this by a tweet: Super Excited to be in #aiyaary Neeraj Pandeys next ! Releasing 26th January 2018 @neerajpofficial"
