The legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar post the Indian women cricket team defeat to England in the ICC Women's World Cup took to Twitter to share his thoughts.

"Feel for all of you, #WomenInBlue! You were good throughout but sometimes it is not meant to be. Congrats England on winning #WWC17Final!" he tweeted.

"#TeamIndia, the entire nation is proud of your brave performance at the #WWC17!" cricketer Hardik Pandya tweeted.

Cricketer Yusuf Pathan tweeted, "Well played girls @BCCIWomen we are proud of your effort. Just couldn't get over the line but it was an amazing tournament."
