It is confirmed that Sara Ali Khan will be making her Bollywood debut opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in Abhishek Kapoor's next film Kedarnath. Reportedly in the film, Sushant will be playing a dacoit in the love story set on pilgrimage.

Reveals the source, "Sushant will start shooting for Kedarnath from September, and he will be seen as a dacoit in the movie. His role is extremely different from the films that he has done before."

Also the director of film said, "I don’t want to reveal too much at this point but our film is a passionate love story set on pilgrimage. I cast Sara in the film because she absolutely fits the part. Sushant, of course, I have worked with before, so I know that he is a sincere actor. I am also excited to work with Prernaa Arora and Arjun N Kapoor of KriArj Entertainment as they bring a unique balance of business acumen and creative insight to this project."

Prernaa Arora of KriArj Entertainment revealed, "It’s truly a cherished moment for us at KriArj to join hands with Abhishek. We loved the script and it was an instant decision for us to come on board for this new age romance, which marks the debut of the extremely promising Sara Ali Khan opposite the very talented Sushant Singh Rajput.
