Suzuki Motor India Pvt Ltd has made full preparations to compete with Bajaj Auto. The company is going to launch the 150 cc cruiser bike on 7th November. The direct bike of this bike will be from Bajaj Avenger, the 150cc bike. Bajaj sells its 9000 units every month. Its design will also be similar to a typical cruiser bike.
Japan's two-wheeler manufacturer, in the international market starting at Rs 71.38 lakh, in which variants from 125 cc to 250 ccs are sold. It would be a matter of fact to see that the company offers a retro look or a modern look at this bike.
In the 150 cc Suzuki cruiser bike, the company's Jicser Bike 155 cc engine will be installed. The engine will be connected to a 5-speed gearbox just like the Jixar. However, the company has not disclosed the full specifications and features of the bike. Considering the Indian market, Suzuki sells very limited models in India. The company sells two scooters in addition to the Jicsar and Hayte Series.
Reports say Suzuki's 150 cruisers will be offered in two versions – one with disc brakes on both wheels and the other with a front disc and a rear drum. The motorcycle is expected to be priced at around Rs 90,000 ex-showroom and at that price point, it will be a compelling case against Bajaj Avenger.
