Year 2016 was full of many notable discoveries and inventions in the world of science, which pulled out new boundries of imaginations. As we humans are the only creatures, who can create a different world in their imaginations. We have a huge power of intelligence, if this power would be fully utilized, then humans can create miracles. This fact was proven once again by these sort of discoveries/ inventions of science.

We are mentioning here only thre selected recent discoveries; which can blow our mind; viz. Gravitational waves, announcement of four new elements which have been added to the periodic table and the last but not the least is the first ever baby born using 'three parent technique'.

• Gravitational waves:

These waves are the ripples in curvature of space-time which travel with the speed of light.

• 4 New elements found were:
  1. Nihonium Nh,
  2. Moscovium Mc,
  3. Tennessine Ts and
  4. Oganesson Og.
• Three parent baby technique:

this technique include DNA of three persons father, mother and the donor. This is the new technique developed by the scientist in recent months.

These all discoveries will cause most significant changes in the life of human beings and can give new ways of survival with new techniques.
